About Us

Sherry Lim is an NCCAOM certified licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon and Washington. Graduating from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2016, her previous work experience includes community-based acupuncture (treating people with multiple, severe health conditions such as cancer, AIDS, drug addiction recovery, PTSD, Multiple Sclerosis, fibromyalgia) and musculoskeletal injury from Worker's Compensation cases and auto accidents. This has given her a wide variety of experience from simple to complex cases. She divides her time between a clinic in Vancouver, WA and here in Beaverton, OR. Her specific areas of emphasis are chronic pain or physical injury, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, auto-immune disorders, migraines, digestive disorders, TMD, headaches, and PTSD/ anxiety/ depression.

She has a personal understanding of illness as she has spent two decades on her own continuous journey with fibromyalgia and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Needing to look for solutions outside of conventional medicine, she made transitions in diet, exercise, mental health in order to live her fullest life. She understands the importance of self-care and having a balanced, open perspective.

Her philosophy on illness is: "You get out of it, what you put into it". How far are you willing to go on your journey to get better? Her goal is to be part of the rewarding process of assisting her patients feel their best, as well as motivating and educating them. She enjoys being part of the transformative journey each patient takes.

In her spare time, she likes reading, martial arts, PC gaming, occasional wine-tasting in vineyards, tea drinking, movies, visiting the coast, researching/ learning new things and hanging out with her partner Coale, his son, Yusef, and her beloved cat, Kiki.
